Remove Advasil Conform from the pack, remove the liner and place adhesive gel side to scar. For smaller scars Advasil Conform can be cut to size, ensure a portion of the pull tab remains after cutting. For larger scars Advasil Conform can be placed side by side. For additional support Advasil Conform can be held in place by medical tape, a crepe bandage or film dressing. Advasil Conform should be washed at least once daily with warm water and mild soap. Avoid using heavy soaps or detergents as they may cause disintegration of the silicone and/or skin irritation. Gently pat the product dry using a lint free cloth. Ensure the product is dry before re-applying to the skin or storing. When not in use, replace the liner and store in original packaging. It is important that the skin beneath the dressing is kept clean and dry, wash area daily.

Frequency of change

Wear time should be built up over a period of time to condition the skin, apply initially to the scar for a maximum of two hours. Add two hours a day until Advasil Conform can be worn comfortably for 24 hours. If during the conditioning period there is any irritation or allergic reaction remove Advasil Conform and seek medical attention. If the gel starts to disintegrate discard and use a new piece.
